If you choose to accompany ME you have to be prepared to walk !!
This autumn I am going for an exhilarating trek into the Himalayas to Roop Kund which is a high altitude alpine tarn with both a happy and a tragic history.
We will begin our journey from Delhi the capital of India, whose weather is fortunately turning into Autumn, and is therefore more human friendly than the previous 6 months of winter and monsoons !
We have three easy options to get to our destination from Delhi and these are a) hire a car b) take a train.c) board a bus
Personally I'd choose the train option any time, its such a comfortable way to spend 8 hours and yet get to see the countryside go by. You can read a book or play scrabble with your fellow travellers or just chat about the upcoming hike.
